New sock monsters

Stuff I have been working on lately: making little guys out of socks, gluing googly eyes onto picture frames, and practicing the scale A major on the ol' acoustic.

So, these little guys are lots of fun to make and they're pretty easy and quick. I can finish one when Ami goes to sleep at night.
All they are are cut up socks and embroidery filled with dried black beans.
I decided to stop using the buttons and stuff because Ami likes to suck on those... I don't trust I sewed them on well enough that they won't get sucked off.









I do this when Ami is really clingy. I can glue googly eyes while standing up and holding her.
I love this. It doesn't need my undivided attention and can be done in spurts.
